All right, my friends. Let’s talk about the big elephant in the room. I’m sure you heard about the update from Adam Mosseri on his Instagram account, where he announced that Instagram is “not just a photo-sharing app anymore”, but what does that mean for you and your business?
This blog post is part of the Podcast/IG Live/ Youtube video & you can listen to a recording here on the Wildly You Podcast for Entrepreneurs, or on Apple Podcasts, too.
This is actually OLD NEWS…
BIG DEEP BREATH…
Instagram sharing the announcement was purely a marketing stunt (in my opinion). Instagram has been so much more than a square photo-sharing app for quite some time now… so why is the internet so shook by this announcement?!
We’ve been forecasting video content on the rise to king of the kingdom since 2019…
It’s time to stop putting it off. LOL. But how?! you say…
How to incorporate more Video Content in your Instagram Strategy
WITHOUT LOSING YOUR MIND!
If you’ve stumbled upon this post without knowing who’s talking to you right now, Hi, I’m Sydney DeLucchi – I have a Social Media Marketing Agency & have been in the realm of social media experience as a business since 2016. I have quite a knack for creating consistency & confidence in strategy that lacks ALL signs of burnout in the forecast… & here’s a sneak peek into how I make that happen for my clients:
What can you ACTUALLY SUSTAIN?
This seems silly but the exact formula to avoiding burnout that I subscribe to is recognizing what can actually fit into your life & into your schedule. In this sense we are talking about social media content strategy, so let’s say you can go with 3 posts per week. That batching schedule doesn’t overwhelm you & you can generally create the space to have the creativity to get that done.
*chefs kiss* we have the beginning of our strategy. The framework, if you will.
I love the 3 posts per week strategy as it gives each post 48 hours to breathe & really thrive in the algorithm!
What are you willing to push the limits on?
To grow we have to leave our comfort zone. So how can you identify & create a plan to push the limits of your creative zone?
For the sake of this blog, let’s go with Video Content is absolutely uncomfortable for you… So let’s start with some baby steps on incorporating it:
- Get crafty in canva or other editing apps to animate your graphics
- Start showing up in Stories with your FACE
- Try recording a video of you talking & uploading it to IGTV
- Or if the idea of potentially editing video stresses you TF out, hop on a LIVE!
- & Lastly, start saving some reels that you love & you want help disecting so you can recreate it for your biz.
After you identify where you want to push your limits, opening up your mind to the possibilities that are on the other side will be SO lucrative for you!
I’m like tearing up at how excited I am for you – Video can be easy & fun. 🙂
WHERE DO YOU NEED HELP?
In the previous section, I mentioned saving Reels that you were inspired by & you wanted to learn how to go about creating them. If you can’t make a transition to save your life, let’s talk about it… I’m not terrible at them lol (check out this one, & this one) & I can help you dissect to see what your different segments need. This is something we can address in the Wildly You Membership – the space I created for Entrepreneurs, like yourself, to grow their business & have access to a coach/mentor without the high ticket price point!Wildly You Membership
