As I transition into searching for and adding Maternity wear to my closet, I’m finding that this is a realm of women’s fashion that is a struggle… Cute clothing that doesn’t scream mumu is challenging to find. Thank goodness I found PinkBlush!
This article is sponsored by PinkBlush – I was grateful to receive my Blue Knit Tie Sleeve Maternity Sweater (Medium) complimentary for my unbiased review and postings!
I want to start this post off with a mention that if you aren’t currently expecting, PinkBlush also has pre and post-bump clothing too! So be sure to check out what they have to offer!
Sweater Weather
Ironically, the day I decided to wear this Blue Knit Tie Sleeve Maternity Sweater from PinkBlush, the temperature got up to 80 degrees and I didn’t layer properly…. Here’s to ‘fall’ in the south! (And, as I type this, it’s only a mere mid 40 degrees today LOL)
Immediately, I was impressed with the quality of this sweater. Not too heavy, but SOFT as anything! The length was perfect to wear leggings with and I do want to point out that with this sweater – I will be wearing it post baby too. It doesn’t have the side rusching like other maternity tops have, but rather it is more flowy to allow space for a growing baby belly! I am 5’3″, with a shorter torso than most, and selected a Medium in this top – I do feel I could have used a small, however I’m not sure how much this belly will pop over the next Sweater Weather months, so I’m glad I sized up, AND I loved the more ‘tunic’ style fit I got with the larger size.
The sleeves are absolute LOVE! If you’re looking for a subtle statement to make with a staple sweater in your wardrobe, this sweater is THE ticket! Bell Sleeves are so IN right now, so ramp it up a notch with the tie on the sleeves and you’re in fashion statement business! It also comes in black, burgundy, heather grey, mocha, and rust.
How I styled my sweater

Blue Tie Sleeve Maternity Sweater (Medium) from PinkBlush, paired with Distressed Isabel Jeans (size 4) from Target.
I think the best part of being pregnant in the ‘cooler’ months will be all the oversized sweaters I get to wear and their functionality of being dressed up or dressed down, PLUS, the post-pregnancy wear I’ll be able to get out of them, assuming oversized sweaters will still be instill next year. This sweater has a lot of potential with the possibilities for creating outfits. I could easily see it paired with a pencil skirt, blazer, and pumps for an office-ready outfit. Sweater + above bump belt + distressed maternity jeans. OR, style it more cozy casual – like I did – with leggings and tall boots + your favorite statement necklace or earrings. Even add a vest or scarf if the weather is cooler. How would you style it?
PinkBlush Review
PinkBlush as an online boutique leaves little to be wished for – they have so many options to fit the trendiest of style to even those that are just looking for simple staple pieces. I was most impressed with the speediness of delivery for my item! They almost rivaled Amazon in the fact that I placed my order for my sweater and received it a short 2 days later! WOW!
I can’t wait to continue to work through my wishlist of items from them and provide more reviews for my ladies out there! Thanks for reading my review, and let me know what fashion tips you have for me! I’m always looking for some! Check out PinkBlush today and save 10% off your first order!
